Walking together with First Nations Peoples in Multicultural Australia
The Lithgow Lowdown (Featuring Former Members of AC/DC, The Masters Apprentices and Midnight Oil)
Get ready to rock and roll at the Lithgow Lowdown, an unforgettable event taking place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 1 PM to 6 PM at Club Lithgow, located at 2C Lithgow St, Lithgow, NSW 2790. This incredible showcase of musical talent features former members of iconic bands AC/DC, The Masters Apprentices, and Midnight Oil, brought to you by Retro Rehash, Acid Amora Band, and other fantastic collaborators.
At the heart of Lithgow Lowdown is a unique mentorship experience where four seasoned rock legends from The Masters Apprentices, Midnight Oil, and the first drummer of AC/DC will join forces to perform a mesmerizing medley of songs from their legendary catalog. This collaborative mentorship will involve artists from five outstanding Lithgow acts, offering them valuable insights into the art of songcraft and stagecraft.
Lithgow Lowdown is not just a music event; it’s a celebration of unity within the local creative community. By bringing together artists from the Blue Mountains and Lithgow/Central West, this event showcases the magic that happens when talent flourishes in a collaborative environment.
But that’s not all! Lithgow Lowdown is also a fundraiser for a noble cause. We’ll be raising funds for the Mingaan Tribal Council’s cool burning ranger project, supporting their vital efforts.
This extraordinary event is led by Willem Hendriksen of the Greater Blue Mountains Creative Arts Network, in collaboration with Lithgow’s Sam Williams and with the generous support of a FRRR grant. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime experience! Grab your tickets at events.humanitix.com/lithgow-lowdown and get ready to groove, rock, and be part of something truly special.

Connecting Creatives Across the Greater Blue Mountains
We are delighted to welcome you to the Greater Blue Mountains Creative Arts Network (The Network) — a vibrant, engaged community of creatives living in the Greater Blue Mountains encompassing the City of Blue Mountains and the Seven Valleys (Lithgow) LGAs.
In collaboration with our partner organisations, we seek to support all arts genres and to project a positive image, regionally, nationally and internationally of Greater Blue Mountains arts and culture through member-initiated projects, art exhibitions and through multi-arts events with our network partners.
We offer our members personalised pages on our website, and the opportunity to engage in thought leadership through our blog and forums.
