Through my paintings, drawings and sculptures, constructed from found electronic parts, I wanted to present an image of an imagined future. The core concept is to examine how human and technological development may progress and live cohesively alongside one another and perhaps the impossible notion of placing human consciousness and love within mechanised creations as the technology that we create rapidly advances. Drawing on the aesthetic qualities of artists Robert Klippel and Jean Tinguely, I wanted to create an impression of corruption and deterioration that is trying to be resisted by residual love.
