Immersed in handed down, to then purchased Black+White and i-D magazine’s at a young age from Ana’s sister, feed her passions in the visual arts, to fashion and music. Seeing how photographer’s captured people and dressed them out of the ordinary was Ana’s thing, and still is.

Ana’s love of colour, texture and vintage wares was developed after visits to her grandmother Glady’s house in historic Maitland, NSW. The beauty of the shot silk turquoise curtains, ornate picture frames, porcelain dolls with pull-strings to talk.

In her studio space, Ana draws on and has reinvented her own wonderland, with some help from the original book of Lewis Carroll. Both surreal and dark lashings are within her studio space, The Lair. Artworks, such as ‘The Dolls House’ are an evolving landscape of the ornate to the bizarre. Sprawling art and design with details galore.
