City Art Gallery
Located in the heart of Katoomba the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre encompasses the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery, Katoomba Library and Into the Blue, an interactive exhibition that explores the history and natural landscape of the Blue Mountains.
Visitors can also enjoy the viewing platform that takes in stunning panoramic vistas of Katoomba and the Jamison Valley.
The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre is a sister facility to the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub and Braemar Gallery located in Springwood.
Sharon Peralta is Gallery ONE88 Fine Arts Managing Director and Curator. ONE88’s Director, Sharon is currently completing a Degree in Communications. Sharon also holds current certificates in Food Management, Handling and Supervision, Barista service and also maintains a Responsible Service of Alcohol.
Sharon has previously been a member of several community boards including most recently as Festival Director/President of Katoomba’s Winter Magic Festival.
Community focus and involvement has always been a strong priority for Sharon and she is always looking for ways to connect the ONE88 business with local incentives such as the Blume Festival.
Director, Curatorial and Exhibitions Manager
Victor is an accomplished portrait artist and Katoomba resident. He has been painting “for as long as I can remember” and is the Curatorial and Exhibitions Manager at ONE88. A public speaker and MC he is often the host during Exhibition openings. Husband to the Managing Director, Sharon Peralta and father of their seven children, Victor often has that crazy look in his eye….. did we mention the coffee?
Victor’s personal artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia, New Zealand and the US.
